WONDER at MYTH and LEGENDS OF OLD - MARVEL at ACROBATS and CONTORTIONISTS - BRILLIANT FEATS of ESCAPOLOGY - MUSIC! LAUGHTER! MAGIC! Equal parts old fashioned European circus, cabaret concert, and dark, rowdy play, Circus Zosma weaves the narratives of a young runaway, a doomed romance, and a dictatorial ringmaster through juggling, clowning, acrobatics, sharpshooting, contortionism, fencing, escapology, folk plays, and, of course, music. Circus Zosma is an original show, conceived and written collectively by the company, first performed August 31st and September 1st, at Mulberry School in San José. The fire-juggler (Anika Weinberger) sings the audience a sad story.
The contortionist (Winter Kamas) strikes a playful pose as the ringmaster (Rory Kinsolving) and sharpshooter (Syl Tavernise) look on.
The beautiful assistant (Emory Olander) plays the castanets, as the company sings.
