Set against the glitter of Hollywood in the hot summer of 1928, The Essential Etiquette for House Parties and Hijinks is a fast-paced original screwball comedy by Ashauer Hostetter that draws on the farcical works of Wilde and Coward and the Hollywood screwball comedies of the 30s and 40s with a modern queer twist. A colorful cadre of silver screen artistes wreak havoc on the house of the unsuspecting host of a raging party, bringing with them their music, their artistic philosophies, their screenplays, and their rats.

The Essential Etiquette for House Parties and Hijinks will be performed in January of 2027 in San José
